Woha. Es ist passiert. Unsere Website war die letzten Tage down! Das ist in über 20 Jahren noch nicht einmal vorgekommen! Und weil Weihnachten war, konnten wir unseren Provider nicht kontaktieren, soll heißen, wir konnten unser Weihnachtsgrüße hier nicht rechtzeitig posten! Das war bitter. Erst seit heute Nachmittag läuft es wieder – wenn auch im BackEnd noch einiges zu tun ist …
Was ein ungünstiger Zeitpunkt für so ein Blackout – das trübte die Weihnachtsstimmung doch ziemlich. Und es hat einen last-minute-Weihnachtswunsch hervorgerufen: Nächstes Jahr einen Website- bzw. WordPress-Kurs belegen mit allem, was dazugehört! Wer also Kurs-Empfehlungen dazu hat, schicke uns gern eine Mail. Unser Halbwissen war wenig hilfreich die letzten Tage. Aber gut, es läuft ja wieder … Daher also hier mit technisch bedingter Verspätung (nutzt die DB das nicht auch immer als Ausrede?!) unsere diesjährige Weihnachtskarte. Nach wie vor handgezeichnet, während KI-generierte Bilder mittlerweile das Internet völlig überfluten!
Und noch ein Wunsch hat sich durch unseren Website-Blackout ergeben: Wir hätten die Karte gern alternativ per E-Mail verschickt, aber unser Newsletter-Anbieter hat unseren Account „archiviert“, weil wir ihn ja aus umschulungsbedingtem Zeitmangel nicht mehr regelmäßig genutzt haben. Auch darum müssen wir uns also demnächst kümmern – NewsletterDienste vergleichen. Irgendeinen Anbieter finden, der einen nicht gleich archiviert, nur weil man mal 2-3 Jahre keine Zeit zum Schreiben hat 😛 Es sind also nur Wenige in den Genuss eines gemailten Weihnachtsgrußes gekommen – halt wo wir die Kontakte noch hatten …
Ach ja – und wo wir schon mal bei Kontakten sind: Ein neues Instagram hätten wir auch gern! Was da abgeht, geht auch nicht mehr!!! …
Wie ihr seht, sind wir momentan in der Kommunikation auf mannigfaltige Weise blockiert. Insofern freuen wir uns, wenn du dies hier liest, oh du Fröhliche*r! Habe eine entspannte Nach-Weihnachtszeit, einen guten Rutsch und reibungslose Kommunikation auf all deinen Wegen. Mögen alle guten Wünsche nächstes Jahr in Erfüllung gehen.

Hand-drawn Christmas greetings 2025
Wow. It happened. Our website was down for the last few days! That hasn’t happened in over 20 years! And because it was Christmas, we couldn’t contact our provider, which meant we couldn’t post our Christmas greetings here in time! That was tough. It’s only been up and running again since this afternoon – although there’s still a lot to do in the backend…
What an unfortunate time for such a blackout – it really dampened the Christmas spirit. And it prompted a last-minute Christmas wish: to take a website or WordPress course next year, with everything that goes with it! So if you have any course recommendations, please send us an email. Our half-baked knowledge wasn’t very helpful over the last few days. But hey, it’s up and running again… So here, with a technical delay (isn’t that always the excuse the Deutsche Bahn uses?!), is this year’s Christmas card. Still hand-drawn, while AI-generated images are now completely flooding the internet!
And our website blackout gave rise to another wish: We would have liked to send the card by email as an alternative, but our newsletter provider “archived” our account because we hadn’t been using it regularly due to a lack of time caused by retraining. So that’s another thing we’ll have to take care of soon – comparing newsletter services.Find a provider who doesn’t immediately activate you just because you haven’t had time to write for 2-3 years 😛 So only a few people got to enjoy a Christmas greeting by email – just where we still had the contacts…
Oh yes – and while we’re on the subject of contacts: we’d also like a new Instagram account! What’s going on there is no longer acceptable!!! …
As you can see, we are currently blocked in many ways when it comes to communication. In this respect, we are happy that you are reading this, oh happy one!
